What you need to know

If you are a patient seeking massage therapy under an insurance claim for Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), you need to know that your therapist must perfom a complete assessment before the treatment can begin.

Please note, the insurance claim must be started through a doctor, physiotherapist or chiropractor, and approved by the insurance company before the massage treatment can begin.

You will also need to bring along any information needed for your claim, including information about your insurance, claim number, and your adjuster's name and contact information.

When visiting our clinic for the first time, you will be eligible to begin treatment immediately as is the current auto insurance law. It is important to inform your therapist if you are only seeking massage therapy, or if you have begun other treatments like physical therapy or chiropractic treatment. The treatment mix will have an effect of the length or number of treatments your therapist will be able to provide. Typically your initial visit will contain a treatment session after the assessment.
